The thick six ply silicone will neve suck in under any boost level. Available in blue or black they are a direct replacement for the factory item.

As a direct replacement for the stock filter, the BMC cotton and mesh filter is more free flowing allowing air to flow easily through it and into the engine. Similar in construction to the K&N type but more lightweight and with more filter area. A good upgrade retaining the stock airbox.
